Counter-Strike: Source (v34) - Automix
About CSSv34 PUGs
We currently do CS:Source v34 PUGs the 3rd Saturday of the month! Head over our Discord server and follow the event to be notified when they start.
Important
Please Note that we're only setting this up for CSS v34 and NOT the modern versions of Counter-Strike: Source ! Don't have it? You can get CSSv34 by clicking here or by getting ClientMod.
Before the Orangebox update that broke most of the game & shattered its community, Counter-Strike: Source was quite popular in a competitive setting thanks to its faster physics and advanced strategies over 1.6.
As CSSv34 is still a curiosity for many people around, and that many of them would love to rediscover the competitive aspects of it, we have created a server for that purpose.
Server Settings:
- Players are fully randomized once the game starts.
- Any team that wins 15 Rounds is the winner.
- Game settings follow the rules used in competitive CS:S back then:
- Freeze Timer of 7 seconds,
- Round Timer of 2:25 minutes,
- C4 Timer of 35 seconds.
- Since it's a PUG, Friendly Fire is disabled.
- Dead players can still Teamchat to their teammates.

FAQ
Can this server be played with the Clientmod client rather than the official CSSv34 client?
Yes, without any issue!
Will you bring Server-side Clientmod support to your server?
No, and we will never do. We support the original CS:Source only.
Will there be CSGO-ported maps to the mix?
It will depend on the popularity of the PUGs as well as what the community desires ; for now, only maps from the CS:S era are set, with the exception of 2 maps who came during the Orangebox transitions.
How can I sign-up for these events?
You don’t have to sign-up : first come, first served.
Optionally, if you’re a Discord user and would like to receive notifications for future games, you can join our Discord server and select the “Counter-Strike” role.
Can I reserve a slot in advance?
No. The first 10 players to join will get to play.
You can also jump in as soon as a slot opens up, even if the game is LIVE. Our past experience shows that people often dont keep their commitments. Overall, accommodating personal requests tends to create disorder and chaos. We believe that implementing an automated system for PUG management is the best way to ensure the most hassle free experience for the most people in the long run.
Are games recorded through SourceTV? Do you share them after the matches?
Yes! The links to get the demos will be shared on Discord sometime after the last game.
I suspect someone was a bit too random but knew everything about the game that he might have been cheating. What can I do?
Please write to us on Discord. We’ll look into the specific HLTV demo and check any abnormal behaviour. We’ll take action if we can confirm such anti-sportsmanship behaviour, as written on our community rules.
I want to join the event with a friend. Can you ensure we’re on the same team?
No. Again, we believe that accommodating individual requests like this can bring more problems than benefits.
If teams are formed by captains and one of you becomes a captain, you can choose the other as a teammate. If the selection is random, you might get lucky and end up together. The best advice is to encourage others to use the captain method for the team arrangement and then try to convince them to pick both of you. In other words, while we wont guarantee it, you can take steps to increase your chances.
Do you accept all skill levels?
Of course, but we still strongly advise you to be at least slighlty familiar with the original CS 1.6 mechanics and movements to enjoy your experience best.
