The Steam patches rename the `liblist.gam` file to a more "library-friendly" name, bring back their original Counter-Strike background, restores the icon on the Steam Library, and fixes the binds menu missing for CS 1.1 and below.

This is a visual glitch that seem to only affect player animations. It also affected players during its official release back then, and was fully fixed in CS Beta 7.0. Unfortunately no solution to fix this issue has been found yet.

You need to modify the `liblist.gam` folder of the required mods! Download the Steam patch for your release of Counter-Strike, and replace the files.

It is completely normal ; since Half-Life 1.1.0.8, VALVe changed the way actions binds work by requiring at least one "header" for better clarity. Earlier releases did not have support for these headers, resulting in some incompatibility. As a result, nothing is shown on screen.

The Steam patch provided above fixes that issue (Counter-Strike 1.1 and earlier).
